The Biointerfaces International Pre-Conference Seminar (August 24) will provide participants with introductory, educational lectures on key biointerface science & technology topics as well as on translation to clinics and application challenges, in preparation for the subsequent Biointerfaces International Conference 2020 (BIC-2020).

Part of the BIS lecturers will at the same time be keynote or invited speakers at BIC-2020.

Apart from scientific/technical lectures, the seminar will also provide lectures and discussions on soft skills and societal challenges related to Scientific Integrity, Open Science, Career Planning, Publication, Funding, and Life/Work Balance.
We aim at providing participants with not only a successful introduction into the conference, but also with a long-lasting educational and more personal experience in the field of the conference.

Registration is open. Please note that the limit number of participants is 120 to keep personal interaction at a high level.

Biointerfaces International 2020 Conference (August 25-27) follows a special format: Programming aims to build bridges across relevant application areas, between science & engineering, innovation & technology, industry and academic partners and between senior scientists & early-career researchers.
